The hotel provided a mix of positive and negative experiences. The rooms were clean and relaxing, with the convenience of having a bath available, but the view faced a hill and building site. The dining experience was enjoyable, but prices were slightly on the higher side for the portion sizes. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were pretty standard, clean, and had a good bed, however, the noise from the wedding party outside was quite disruptive. The staff seemed polite and accommodating for the most part, but there were instances of untrained service. The location was great for a wedding at Hengrave Hall and convenient for a quick trip to Bury St Edmonds. The dining experience was not up to par for the price paid, and the loud music from the wedding affected our overall stay.
The hotel offers stunning rooms with views to die for, perfect for a bridal party and photographers, clean and bright with lovely balcony views across the golf course. The service was excellent, going above and beyond to accommodate guests. The location is ideal for events, though the noise from external events may affect the peace. The dining experience, while with a buffet option, may need improvements. Overall, a great value for money stay with beautiful scenery.
